With all that this foundation is achieving, we would like to take it to the next level as being the first Latina Outreach and Awareness foundation that caters to the Latina women. We intend to have literature in English and Spanish and have well established support groups where women can feel comfortable with other Latinas in sharing their story. This foundation can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer but we cannot do it without help and support from caring individuals like you. If you know someone with this disease or a Madre, Hija, or Hermana in need of more information, please call, email or write to us. We would love to hear from you.

As we reflect on Zapata’s quote "It is better to die on your feet: than to live life on your knees." I believe that we are living on our feet by our actions within this foundation rather than just taking a knee and letting life go by without giving influence to our people. We as a Raza must be supportive of each other which make us physicians of the soul. We should encourage our friends to listen to the advice of their doctor and to follow their direction, for they have had medical education and experience in the ongoing battle with breast cancer. A positive outlook, a smile, good works and love are all of the ingredients of a warrior fighting cancer. Just like "Emiliano" just like "Abby".
